The Poetry in Notion poetry circle founded by Genea Brice meets monthly at the JFK library. Poetry in Notion regularly meets 3rd Thursdays from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.

December 16, 2018 – Holiday Literary event at the McCune Room – 2-4 PM @ 505 Santa Clara Street, downstairs in the McCune. I’ll be sharing some Jewish poetry. Others have prepared seasonal short stories.


January 19th – 10 AM – Women Building Vallejo – local women’s march followed by summit at 350 Georgia Street. I’ll be among the speakers and marchers. “We will meet at Vallejo’s Ferry Plaza at 10:00 am, march to and come together briefly at City Hall, then march down Georgia Street to Decades, 350 Georgia Street. Please note: For those who cannot march, Decades will open at 10:00 am.”

February 13th – 6 PM I will be reciting “Poetic Timing” as well as serving as a judge for the Solano County Poetry Out Loud competition. 734 Marin Street, Vallejo

April 6, 2019 – Vallejo Poetry Month Celebration 2-4 PM @ 505 Santa Clara, Joseph Room featuring Paul Corman-Roberts, Aqueila Lewis, Tom Stanton, Juanita Martin, D.L. Lang

June 23, 2019 2-4 PM – “The Place That Inhabits Us” Ekphrastic Art from Poetry – McCune Room 505 Santa Clara Lower Level. Artists and writers are paired together. In my case Noah Dove has created a painting based on my poem “The Spaces that Whisper Home” which I’ll share at the event.
