Dancing with the Wind As cool winds compose symphonies on my chimes, I pause to watch the stray cat prance across the road. I survey the sun descending into a musty orange haze. The moon peaks out from mama earth’s shadow. It is almost as though I can touch the mountains, and absorb the piney air in my lungs once again. Not far past her glittering peaks lies the ocean. I’ll miss my annual pilgrimage to waltz among her waves. For now it is the garden or the balcony for me to absorb life’s beauty dancing with the wind as she summons a peace that arises from within satisfied with seeing what the heart can no longer touch.
