When The World Has a Flat

When the World has a Flat

This flag’s made up of all kinds of stripes.
Stripes of red. Stripes of white.
Stripes of left. Stripes of right.

This flag is filled with starry skies.
Stars of David. Movie stars.
Lots of guys picking their guitars.
Stars on shoulders. Shooting stars.

This flag’s made by the people
of every rainbow that they come from,
every single country, this country welcomes ’em.

This flag has also got its blues.
Sometimes it takes people like me and you
to make sure this flag still stands for freedom
in a land of so many flags, you can’t help but see them.

In this land of patriots, rebels, and farmers,
you’ve got to do something more
than sound alarm bells.

When the world’s got a flat,
you’ve got to change it.
